The Department of Neuroscience is divided into groups of associated personnel.  Search by Faculty (Core Faculty, Joint Appointment Faculty, Adjunct Faculty), Students (Grad Only), Staff (includes Administration members and Research Staff members).

We currently include 9 primary faculty members, 10 joint-appointee faculty, 10 honorary adjunct faculty, 14 researchers (postdoctoral associates and professional research staff), and 14 graduate (Ph.D.) students, and we provide research experiences for 20 undergraduate students and 2 high school students.

Among the faculty are a member of the National Academy of Sciences, a Fellow of the Royal Society, a MacArthur Fellow, three Regents’ Professors, and the UofA Vice President for Research, Graduate Studies and Economic Development.

We have active and productive research programs supported by the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, and the Department of Defense, as well as private companies, foundations, and state agencies.
