Elizabeth Shelton, Undergraduate Student in the Bhattacharya Lab, receives the NSCS Outstanding Senior Award

Congratulations to Elizabeth Shelton, the Neuroscience/Cognitive Science (NSCS) Outstanding Senior for Fall 2020! Liz is majoring in NSCS with an emphasis in Neurobiology, and minoring in Molecular & Cellular Biology, Microbiology, and Spanish. Liz is also a student athlete and has been an exceptional member of the UA Women’s Volleyball team for four years. Liz has been working in Dr. Martha Bhattacharya's lab during her senior year and studying the genetic relationships between proteins in nerve degeneration post-injury. After graduation, Liz plans to pursue a PhD in Molecular Genetics. Again, congratulations, Liz!
